fuel pump help :)

   im pickin up a 16v engine tomorrow, its 99 gti engine. I have a 2000 silver top vtr mk2. What i need to know is will i have a fuel return line, and if i do will i have to change my pump? Hopefully someone can help

   no you shouldnt have to change the pump ive been informed they are the same

   would i have to fit a fuel return line? or is it there? or do i not need one?

   A fuel return line isnt essentially needed but you will have less mpg without one
   
   The VTR is the only model (discounting diesel) in the petrol range that doesnt already have a return line plumbed in, so you get the short straw owning a VTR unfortunately
   
   If you want to fit one its relatively easy and on the other models the fuel line follows the feed line just about all the way so its easy to see where to put it.
