Thinking of retrimming my roof lining from grey to black.
Any guides on this or has anyone done it to guide me...

don`t think there is a guide , but just buy valeters dye. you just brush it on, with the colour of your choice. does a great job.

Is the roof lining easy to take off and put back on?

Its a bit of a hassle to remove the lining but its pretty easy.

Need to remove all handles, sun visors and sunroof handle console etc. These 6 bolts under the sunroof glass that hold the sunroof slider in that all need to come off and a platic trim across the top of the tailgate. I think thats it, but someone will correct me if i have missed anything.

Then it should drop off. It may be glued in to the roof as well, can't remember. Refitting is opposite of removal.

the die may work for going darker but i wont work for going lighter i.e. white.

if you want to go white you need to retrim it. its not hard to do. i've done mine on my golf which is a lot harder than a saxo due to the shape. saxo roof linings are pretty much flat which makes it easy.

make sure you use a good glue that wont come unstuck in heat. the spray on stuff isnt good enough.

there is a white leather roof lining for sale in the 'for sale' section for about £50 iirc
