Knocking noise from clutch???

   When i put my foot fully on the clutch to put it in to first, there's a constant knocking noise? Any ideas? Doesnt happen when change gears ...

   could be clutch release bearing, mine made a noise when i put the clutch down, replaced the clutch

   Yeh as above, clutch release bearing mate, you'll need a brand new clutch mate

   That happened to mine but only slight knocking, and it were the release bearing, new clucth time

   hmmmmmmmm how did you get it fixed, ours is sounding poorly atm, with strange noises, one being the CV gator getting loose!!!!

   had to get a new gearbox mate.

   well mine lasted me about 3months until it all went bang on me! should cost u about £200 - £300 for a recon box.

    I think i have this sort of problem please help, evertimei push my clutch down itdoes it or if i dont touch it it does it aswell but when i push my clutch all the way to the floor its find

    if the box is shot get one from a scrappy fit it yourself, cost £100 max for a cheap box.
    
    usually its just the release bearing on peoples clutches that bangs a bit

    its about 3/4 high aswell how long will it last?

    how long is a piece of string.
    
    Clutches can last forever when we think they are dead, or just go right away.
    
    We thought that a standard valeo on my high powered vt'R' would die at the ring, yet has done a track day since then, alot of raod miles and some RR runs...
