I myself was looking for help on this site when I first got my 1.1X Saxo. The previous owner of the car had lost the codes to the keypad so they could not start the car. Your told that without the codes you can NOT start the car. This is UNTRUE. There is a simple solution to this problem which for me cost only £46. If your lucky enough you may not have to pay even that. I've placed this information on here becuase I know there are so many people who had the same problem I did.
To bypass the immobilser you don't need to touch or disfigure the keypad like I did when frustrated. By replacing the cars ECU with another from a car of the same make/model and preferablily around the same age, you will then bypass the car's immobilser, providing the other car has NO immobilser keypad. Then when you fit the ECU into your car, an immobilser will not be detected and there for the car will start. I have a P reg 1997 so for me I then needed to find a saxo of the same age or a little younger.
The reason for this is simple. The minority of the saxo range had no keypad immobilser. I found that it's the newer models that have the keypad. You MUST take the ECU from a car without the immobilser and preferabily the older the better because you may have to contend with key codes if your ECU is the newer model. The ECU model number which I used and If I'm right then so should you is the 58 model. I did have the 68 which had the immobilser installed. Remember to have the ECU scanned once you have fixed your immobilser fault. Reason for this is the ECU may have old faults from the previous car and will need clearing so yours can run nice and smoothly! Worked for me and hope it will for you too. Please give me feedback!
