top half of light tint (edit: finished pics)

If anyone has got these done like this on their car could i see a pic please, cheers.

what does everyone rekon anyway? can get the tint spray off ebay for about a fiver because halfords dont stock it anymore apparently. just thought it would go quite well leaving the bottom half red as the car is red, and the black half to go with the badges, bumper etc.. and its leaving the reflector bit unsmoked as well. I obviously wont make it that dark though.
There mk1 lights on a mk2 furio btw

    cheers

imo i think it looks abit weird, but that mite b cos its just done on paint or wotever, if it were possible i would prob go for the bottom 1/2 black n top red but that aint gonna happen at all.

Is it not possible to just tint the bottom half or is that ilegal because of the reflectors?
  26. #26
I cant see why it would be illegal but wait for a few more people to reply lol

    Looks good!
  27. #27
They need to reflect light to be legal which is why you should tint very lightly in the reflector area or not at all, leaving a reflective strip.
  28. #28
as above! but i wanted them red and black to go with the theme!
  29. #29
good job there mate and aslong as there is any amount of reflector showing above 4cm im sure they are legal like in this link i think thats the minimum that has to be showing
