if i was going to chip my car can anyone tell me what things i would have to consider plz?

i wouldnt chip the car mate
unless its a high quailty item its probably not worth the cash
and if it is i would rather go for a remap
but again unless coulped with some good mods theres no point in that

ok cheeers well what cheaps modds can i get to increase my performance mayb for my car i got k&N induction kit anythin else

a decent exhaust system and a manifold will help out mate
a decent cold air feed setup to the induction kit is a good call if youve not done it
on a 1.1 im not sure past just breathing as the size of the internals may be smaller than the bigger cars so might not take the stress of cams ect

am just wondering superchips claim a 6bhp increase on a standard VTR, does anyone think this is possible? i wouldnt pay £295 for it, but i think that kind of increase is possible.

    anyone?

doubt it a remap would be cheaper than that on a standard car.

Yes is possible, but 6bhp for £295 is not worth.

stay away from superchips, my mate had one on his standered pug 306 xsi and it made it run balls, i took it off and put the standered one back on, car ran alot beta and was faster with standered chip, get a remap if anything
