horrible noise coming from somewhere...

i just had both front wheel bearings done as i thought it was these but obviously im wrong...

when im in a carpark and going round and turning i get like a sqeeking/squeeling sound coming from the front, also at higher speeds if i take my foot off the throttle or even take it out of gear i get like a loud humming kind of noise... its horrible!!

any ides what may be causing it?

    cv joint

as above CV joint drive shaft area, might even be rear bearings ? sometimes can confuse you, would of thought if you had the bearings done at a garage they would of let you no it wasn't the bearings before changing them

check your cv joints the gaters might av split if it aint that then i suggest bottom ball joint an check every bush and bolt.....

the noise is only when driving... if i put my foot down the noise isnt there its only when i take my foot off the throttle and roll or take it out of gear and roll

    BUT

if i steer to the left a little when the noise is there... it goes but ONLY if i turn to the left a little... obviously when i turn back straight it comes back again

it is like a wheel bearing noise, could the cv joint cause that? or gearbox? or something?

Deffinately a driveshaft/CV problem. Its making the exact same noises mine was, I had to have the driveshaft replaced, no noise on acceleration, then a loud rubbing/squeaking when slowing down.

i know my passenger driveshaft is on its way out as its clicking when i go round left hand corners... but the sound seems to be coming from the drivers side corner, but yeah mate thats the noise!

    could it be the gearbox?

Its definatley the driveshaft mate, mine was doing the exact same thing,i got two new driveshafts today, and just got in from fitting them, and the noise has now gone and dosent click anymore
