Steering Ball Joint on Suspension Strut Help

   How does this tighten up? When i took it off it just unscrewed, but when i go to put it back on, the thread is just spinning with the bolt? And there is no torx or hex head on the thread?

   clamp it to the strut with some grips
   that will cause the taper to grip in the strut

   i had to do that with one of myn but the other side i just put some pressure on the top of the TRE with my hand and the bolt screwed on fine

   jack the bottom of the ball joint up the pressure of the jack will clamp the taper then jus tighten up job done

   Really having problems with one of them my clamp is starting to bend and it still wont do up and i cant get it off now either
