saxo vtr starter motor on a saxo vts

    exactly as title says, would a saxo vtr starter motor fit on a saxo vts 2002?

    yes, they are the same for all petrol models

    are you sure? because a vts has a bigger flywheel....

    I was informed all the TU starter motors are the same, i can check 2mo my spare s1 rallye one with my vts one.

    vts and vtr have the same flywheel
    all petrol TU's use the same starter motor

    my vts starter motor is messed up so I took a starter motor from a vtr and put it in my vts and it does turn the engine. However it does look different compared to my vts one but still works.

    the different sixe bodys depending on the manufacturer
    aslong as it works its ok

    Help trying to replace my starting motor and i dont know where it is?
    is it easy or look slike i have to take a few things apart?

    its at the back of the engine under the inlet manifold, you will only have to take the airbox out
