VTS rear bumper on 1.1i forte?

  1. #1
Ive already asked this, but i want to clarify something. Is it possible to fit a VTS rear bumper onto a 2000 reg 1.1 forte? Does anything needed to be cut off, and how would it bond on? screws? Original Bolts? Tigerseal? Thanks, Sam.

What is the flat arch model though? I dont understand?!

Its anything but a VTR/S, i have a forte, if you look your rear arches arent rounded, they go straight across the back wheel. Hence why you will need to trim back the arch when fitting the VT kit

The flat arch model is the one you have...whereas westcoast, furio, VTR and VTS all have a kit on it with different front and rear bumpers and sideskirts

So the guide says that VTS rear bumper will fit straight onto a flat arch model?! So if buy one will it definately fit?

    NOOOOOO!
you cant do the bumper without the arches. the bumper will stick out in the top corners. you can put a vt front bumper on but not rear without replacing the arches

Ok, reason im asking is that i want to put a new backbox on, but that would mean cutting away a bit of the bumper, any advice on how to do this?

get a littl cutting disc in a dremel (or a drill) and carefully trim it
i did it to mine before i started to vt kit it
    its not too hard tbh
