rears locking up

    Hi,

my cars lowered 40mm all round (i think it is slightly uneven though at the back) but anyway the rears on my car always lock up under heavy breaking. I heard this might be something to do with the valve spring or something but when i look at the spring its already undone all the way.. what could be causing this?

    Cheers

the bias valve affects the braking ratio front to back on the car
if you tighten it up itll pull the bias back to the front and stop the rears locking

o right... i was told that you undo the spring to get the rears to not lock up... like the rear thinks there is weight in the back but there isnt... so i need to do it back up ? lol tight or what?

    thanks for help

whats wrong with back locking up first? I'd prefer that, as my nova used to lock back up, rather have oversteer than understeer

no way.... its so twitchy, and car just slides everywhere really dangerous if i have to stop quickly or something..

    i tightened mine up
stopped the rears locking up (cause id gone like 75mm down it was well bad)
when i lowered the car it came loose (was tight at standard height)
so i assumed it should be tight

    worked for me
