    any ideas where i can get a fibreglass widemouth to replace the lower grille slats? cant really afford £100 for the carbon fibre one...

    Theres only Streamline that do them, and they only do them in carbon I think. Could always contact them and see if they will do a fibreglass one for you like Bens. Might be more than £40 though.

    Alternatively, if you are a bit handy with fibreglass, do it yourself. Cut the slats out and then smooth the holes back over. Or get a saw and cut the recess off altogether. thats how mine was done.

    i took mine out the other day, i used a jigsaw to cut the lats out and then used fiberglass to fill the holes. i had never used fiberglass before and it was surprisingly easy. And cost well less that 40 quid ! just takes abit of time !

    streamline do a fibre glass one. think i sent bicston a message on here and he said it was about £50 or somthing like that

    if u just skim over the holes with fibreglass and paint after, will it crack in the future?

    So long as the area surrounding the hoel is prepped properly and the glass is allowed to dry properly before its painted, it shouldn't crack. Particularly in the centre of the bumper as the panel wont ever flex and is under no pressure etc.

    Basically, if you take your time and do it right, it should be fine
