bonnet spacers

   i need someones view on bonnet spacers, is it a pointless mod or not, one of my mates said it will just look like the bonnet dont fit properly!

   all depends.
   
   if it is done too high, then it can look shit. or if it is being done for a genuine reason, then it doesnt really matter.
   
   mine is raised to that the strut brace can fit on! haha
   
   easy to do as well. just whack some washers on the bolts

   i thought un have to buy a kit to do it, oh well if it aint gonna cost much mays well try it lol nice one!!

   i made some spacers at work for mine but longer bolts and a load of washers will work
   
   not much point apart from the look
   some cars look broken with them on

   have you still got like 50+ washers under your bonnet?

   Better for track cars imo and they look better on MK1's

   ive just bought some off egay, did buy some off some1 on here but they never turned up, they look better on mk1's

    look good on mk1 never sin a mk2 as said just use washers mate

    ive made some myself with longer bolts and a few nuts for spacing, im fed up of people at the lights telling me my bonnetts open, but looks good on the mk1!!
