   is it best to mesh the front grill once the slats are cut out or can i just leave it open?

   I think if you leave it open you could end up with stones and stuff like that getting in which could end up doing some damage.

   ive got a black mk2 vtr and i just cut the slats out, took the chevrons out and sprayed them gloss black, and sprayed the rest of the plastic grill gloss black and left the meshing out, it looked lush, it just worried me the first time it rained as all the water went straight on to my 4-2-1 manifold and ther was steam everywhere lol, i have meshed it now but think it looked better before

   Never leave it open imo, mesh it up asap

   Mesh it, but use black mesh! Silver mesh looks awful!
