Professional Powder Coating

   Just bought myself some bog standard VTR alloys, i have a black saxo and im looking to get them professionally powder-coated and refurbed.
   
   Just wondering if any of you have had it done and what kind of prices I would be looking at?
   
   My mate got quoted £200 for his set of Fiesta Zetec S alloys, just wondering if mine would be any cheaper as they are 2 inches smaller and have very little detail compared?

   i was quote 160 for mine but depends on the damage and kurbing

   For second hand alloys, they are in really good nick, only one has a slight kurbing, and all have a few light scratches, nothing major.
   
   Paid £80 for 4, its the tyres that let them down, one has a buldge and the other a tear, so at the minute im waiting to get some tyres in to change them over.
   
   But yeah, damage is minimal

   average prices for a full refurb and coating seems to be between £25 and £50 per wheel.
   Our local place quoted me £35 + vat to refurb a set of 16's with minimal kerb damage.

   id guess at around 160-180 shop around ask st unique hes quote 110 for vtr and vts alloys before but you would need to get the tyres removed

   sure you can find cheaper than £200, there is a thread on this and im sure someone got them for like £60 quid so ild shop around mate

   Ok thanks for ideas, atleast now I know what kinda thing i can expect. Just didnt want to go into it blind and pay over the odds thats all

    go to 1st class alloys in lichfield... they do a spot on job and its £120 plus vat
