   Ok -- i have just bought this 2002 1.5D, totally basic, what MPG should i get, if i am really, really light footed?

   Adsayer saw over 100mpg iirc.

   as in 'really, really light footed'???
   
   65-100mpg if it's the motorway and you're prepared to do 55mph on it. I never got lower than 48mpg

   I use to get around 70mpg in my 106 derv.

   they're certainly good on economy but lacking in performance sadly... Regardless they make for cheap, good run abouts

   Got to be better performance than my old Renault 11GTL, and 80-100 Kms per hour is good enough for me. Thanks for the replies
