Spraying centre console

   Sprayed centre console 3 coats of primer and done first layer of gloss black. Problem is i need to travel home tomorow and cant spray over the weekend. How much time do you need to leave between coats?

   About 20mins inbetween coats mate but I left mine over night before I put the lacquer on.

   get a hair dryes on the job. 5 mins tops then..

   when I put my first coat on I just left it for a min of 20mins maybe longer before I applied the second coat but don't touch it or you will get finger prints all over it and it will be ruined.

   then just leave the console to dry and drive without it.
   better than having to respray it.

   as said above use a hair dryer evenly over the console.. helps quite a bit, but leave longer before laquer

   no mate all i did was stripped it out car and just drove the car for 2 days without it in.
   only downfall is having no heating.
   i never sanded any of mine as it was plain black.
   
   i put:
   
   4 coates of plastic primer on - min of 20min between coates
   3 coates of the colour of the chosen spray again min of 20mins between
   left it over night then next day in the evining when i got in 1 coat of lacquer but some people will say a min of 3 coates.
   then next day when it was completeld dried i put it back in.

    heres how mine turned out with 1 coat of lacquer but you will no yourself how many coates of lacquer to put on when its ready.

    that cremey/white looks well nice im geting my bits flocked in red just waiting for them to be sent out.

    cheers mate i had them white last month but took them out and spayed them in peugeot antelope beige to go with the leather interior as the white ones i had before were well out of place.
    ive seen the flocked ones before theres a set on ebay in blue.
    get pictures up when you get it fitted mate.

    that guy thats selling blue bits on ebay is who im buing them of but not as much as the blue kit just 2x door specker grills 2x mirror covers 2x heater surounds and center console thats all im having done. i will get pictuers up soon when i start a thread but before i show you all my car i need to get a new pasnger door and one chevron for the grill

    if you havent got the parts already lined up that you need there is a wated section on here someone might be able to help you out.
    also theres the for sale section, always members stripping parts of cars.

    cheers mate i have a door lined up but it needs painting and the chevron is like finding rocking horse shit ive looked on ebay and been to 4 scrap yards not one anywhere
