-
#19lol what a dick.
how can i make an air filter
it is a laugh, im cracking up, ill laugh even harder when i see it. -
#20Why make one, no airfilter ftw
-
#21by air filter, i take it you mean some form of induction kit.
if so bits of drain pipe work a treat -
#23get your mum to suck the air in, she sucks anything else perfectly.....
-
#25on a more serious note, you could always buy a cheap universal one, and get some thin aluminium to make it so that the filter is enclosed or use it as a heat shield. but i dont think you can make one out of household objects. Tights over the TB? lol
-
#29hahahaha, i think grant vtr has OFFICIALLY left this thread well alone after this lol
-
#30big fan of the sarcasm haha

#31Okay, on a serious note i did some testing this morning,
Vtec induction kit progress thread
Step one
Tools needed
a rubber band 3 toilet roll tubes a berol fine liner and a andrex roll

Step two
Branding
Take your berol fine liner and brand your filter, don't worry if you make a mistake its easy to tear a sheet off and start again.

Step three
Assembly
Take your filter and insert one of your tubes, make sure that its tight.

Repeat this step until you reach the length needed

Three did the job for me.
Now your finally there, take a minuet to feel proud of your creation.

The final product.
Step four, final stage
Installation
For this i used three more toilet roll tubes and a rubber band
Take a toilet roll tube and the rubber band, double the rubber band up with your fingers and place over tube, the squeeze over your throttle body, take your finished induction kit and mount it in engine bay, i used a wire coat hanger for support, take two more tubes and form a U bend from the throttle body tube to the induction kit
Should look something like this

Now, take your car out for a good thrash to bed it in and enjoy the awesome throttle response and sound9 users thanked this post: , , , , , , , , -
