    Hello all (Y)
Just was wondering about the Vtr mk1's and mk2's (sorry if this has already been asked, i couldnt find it)
But; whats the difference in the engines? What makes that extra 8bhp to the mk2 engine when the mk1 engine has 90bhp. cheers

i thought it was the injectors? and as said above the fact the cat is in the manifold might change things

surely though if it was just the cat then both a mk1 and mk2 de-cated would be same performance. Maybe only citroen know the real answer

it made sense when i at the ECU of a Ph1 (my old westy) and my Ph2 VTR (I know how simple that must sound haha) so I believed that was the real reason for the difference in power. Didn't know it was 98bhp though, autotrader says 100bhp but a friend told me its 105???

hmmmmmm aw well, yeah ecu is a 3 plug, mines a single plug, wont be the the cat, can understand if its the ecu, injectors, i no they have different throttle bodies that mite just be it

all is a mystery, i guess citroen and peugeot will only know why theres a difference in power
