Im in the middle of putting a vts engine in my vtr. The speedo on my car only goes upto 120mph. Its a phase 2 saxo, single plug ecu type. What i want to do is put some VTS clocks in my car. But i want to know if they will go straight in to my car? Or does the the interior loom need to be changed?

#3Are you on about just the clocks or the whole unit with the gauges and everything? The vts has oil temp gauge as standard. Very useful to have.

#4the unit so i can have temp sensor
-
#5Best bet is to get a full vts interior loom.
I can't see why you'd want to go over 120mph?
In all reality, IMO it's more hassel than it's worth - could fit an aftermarket oil temp gauge? Would be less hassle. -
#6I never said i wanted to, just want the oil temp and the higher rev gauge

#7Sorry, must have mis-read the part about 120mph.Quote:Im in the middle of putting a vts engine in my vtr. The speedo on my car only goes upto 120mph. Its a phase 2 saxo, single plug ecu type. Saxos rev gauges all go upto the same amount iirc.
If they don't then your best best is to get a Vts interior loom to fit the Vts gauge unit.
IMO I'd just get an after Market gauge for whatever function you want, as I don't think the Vts dials will be plug and play. I've never tried so can't say for sure. -
#8think there same fitment m8 but could be wrong
im puttin vts clocks inmy vtr in next 2 weeks wen i do conversion so will let u know
