what would i gain putting 1 of these in my vtr,
is it worth having done and how much should i be looking to pay for a box and fitment

Its not the vts box you want mate, you want the box out of the 106 rallye. The rallye is an 8 valve with a closer ratio box than the vtr as standard.
Means you will rev higher on the motorway but will pull better in the lower gears too.
Not sure how much you will pay and fitting i dont know either, these are quite rare anyway to see on a vtr.

ive got a vts box on my vtr and have felt little to no improvement tbh mate, any increase in accleration is negligable
with regards to price its a good 4 hours worth of labour so fitting prices ive been qouted range from £150 - £220ish
