Decat vs girlfriend?

   Hi people in a dilemma here just had my decat fitted and it makes the car much louder than expected, its only been run through a 2" magnex zorst which is not overly loud with the cat on.
   
   Prob is though girlfriend now refuseing to get in the car cos of this! Its a chav car apparently!
   
   Now im looking at sport cats but do they make the same racket as the decat? Also would a silencer do the job?

   Sports catalyst in will make it quieter and the same with a silencer in too.

   i was looking at options and im thinking a sports cat would quieten as it is still a restriction of exhaust gases??

    i'm running a de-cat with silencer and it is still really loud lol but not to over the top! It's not the type you hear from miles away.

    i got a decat with a supersprint silencer and same magnex zorst. Doesn't really sound loud unless you plant you foot normal driving conditions it quite quiet noting about middle of the noise scale lol lol

    I am running a sports cat on mine with no silencer. It is pretty loud but that's just my back box only when I ragg it, other than that it ain't that bad.

    i got the 90 bhp vtr and got a supersprint mani 4-2-1 decat through the newer mk2 midsection and sportex oval and it sweet as a nut not to loud either but it on the boundry line with my gf too lol no pleasing them
