saxo vtr gearbox

    I have just brought a gearbox for my saxo vtr its the mk2 on a V plate 2000 model any suggestions on the best way to fit this would be great.

    not very hard to do to befair mate just get a haynes manual.

    100% agreed, even with a haynes manual, there is undoubtedly going to be points in the fitting process where you think "what the F&%$".

    Best to get something like that done by a professional if your unsure because the next thing you know you'll be calling a mechanic to your house and paying even more.

    yeah i done mine on the drive and put back together and reverse was where first was i was very confused lol.had just put linkages on the wrong way around lol.

    depends on your DIY skills mate, but if you have to ask i guess you not got a hayned manual and have not done much work on cars before. hence Garage! saves the anger, stress and cuts!
