my engine is rough help please

   hi i just got a VTR engine put in my Furio
   
   the thing is they guy i got it from it was sat on his front garden for about 6 months and never moved, it dosnt seem like a 1.6 its a bit slugish to pick up speed but its quick when it gets to high revs but what do you recomend i do ??
   
   i was thinking fuel aditives to clean it out but that all i can think of

   service; plugs, oil change and fliter, test lamba sensors. saying that if its been sat outside for 6 months you surely would of done all this before putting it in your car?

   jus drop the oil and filter and put some new oil in, and change plugs and air filter whilr your at it.

   LOL at some of the situations guys on here put themselves into! It could have been seized for all you knew by the sounds of it?
   
   On a serious note, as everyone said, get it serviced. Did you changed the ecu when putting it in? Did you get the vtr the gearbox too?

   i dont know the garage done it for me i have the furio gearbox in still
