Remapping

   Been speaking to the few people that use the V5 forum, and im considering a remap..
   
   anyone with a remapped car having better economy or worse? on the V5 forum they say the mixing is optimised therefore better...

   from what i've read, been told and seen results of, having a remap tends to make very little difference to fuel economy, it can increase it but don't expect anything drastic. obviously the ecu on your car is exactly the same as an ecu in any other v5 golf but the engines will all be built to slightly different tolerances so the ecu isn't a perfect match for the engine. having a remap will obviously make it a perfect match for that engine allowing you to increase power,mpg. hope that makes sense!
