#2I thought you were going customQuote:anyone used these before? thinking of using 1 with the clio TB. are the about the same diameter as a BMC?

. Most people reckon the BMC is better but im not a fan. On 2 saxos I actually know (my mates) they all went to rolling road with standard VTR's and VTS's and since have been modifying them. 6 months later, go to same rolling road 2 of them had BMC's on and actually lost power and torque, other had a pipercross which made around 3bhp more I think something like that anyway. I havn't personally tried the BMC so I won't knock it...just going from peoples' past experiences.
Not saying that there good as a proper green enclosed is what i'd go for, not the raceland one. Its got sizes on here mate anyway..http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...a16081fecd12b9. BMC has an OD of 70mm iirc and you get 2 nylon reducers to go to the throttle body. -
#3im not going to make the actual filter. how much more custom can you go when im using clio 172 TB, 75mm piping to pipercross venom with as big a diameter airfeed i can use with it.

#4i know its expensive but there is this too if your really feeling flush:

EDIT: didnt realise you were using it for a clio mate! My bad -
#5yeah, its not good using a saxo filter as it will be too small diameter. + im not spending that much on a filter. haha
-
#6Yeh it is abit on the expensive side lol

#7Ohhh I thought you just meant you just wanted a filter kit thing that just connected to the clio TB. Now I understand what you meanQuote:im not going to make the actual filter. how much more custom can you go when im using clio 172 TB, 75mm piping to pipercross venom with as big a diameter airfeed i can use with it.
. This is going to be awesome when its complete mate, you should really go and get it RR'd then RR'd again after you fit it all and see what the exact difference is. Would be very interesting to see, get some pics up when you have the parts

#8when it was mapped it was 153hp and it had been on a different set of rollers which read 150hp, so anything more than them will be an improvement.

#9I think OMP do a simota carbon airbox which is fairly similar to the BMC. I'm not convinced those BMC's are worth the money though... standard airbox with a decent panel filter and re-worked cold air feed seems to be as good as anything.

#10standard is no good with 75mm OD 68mm ID, throttle body though
