funny noise

hey guys,, i have an 02 plate mk2 saxo vtr,, when i accelerate in any gear or during wind down theres a funny vibrating noise from the engine,, i have a feeling it's coming from the butterfly flap in the throttle housing but cant be sure. anyone shed any light on this,, any help greatly recived.

The first bit you described sounds like your driveshaft, but the second part about your throttle housing has me stumped!

it does it at stand still though so cant be. hits 2000rpm and makes a noise,, it's like the plap isn't tight and as it shut it wobbles back and forth. and by throttle housing i mean where the throttle is it's attached to a box the the air filter comes out of,, that flap in there lol. im not helping am i

Now ive got a mk2 vtr and i get a from what i can understand almos the same sound, from the same point, but thats only after i turn my engine off! lol guess im not helping much either!
