   basically spoke to the local scrappy today lookin for a rear axle and he tried telling me the 106 gti has a 25mm rear arb !? and that it would fit on a saxo ? if that is the case surely thats a swap worth doing....

   It is bigger than a saxo one.

   it's 1 bigger than a saxo iirc.

   the 106 gti is 24mm and the saxo vtr/vts is 22mm

    might be worth checking it aint been replaced for a better one and getting an even better deal lol, though i doubt it.

    25mm ARB is the pugsport one.
    
    106GTIs used the 24mm ARB.

    and fitting a thicker rear arb will cause the rear end to be more lively, so if you dont want a rear end being a bit more loose on the limit then id not fit one.

    IIRC, its only the early GTis with 24mm ARBs, the later ones had 22mm ones, I think.

    Sure alex said that he had a 24mm one in his GTI which is an R reg, and when i ordered mine from Peugeot i used Rushys reg which is 52 plate iirc on the original reg
    
    Theyre about £80 new from Peugeot and they are fully compatable with your existing end plates too.

    Yeh, i thought they all came with the 24's and apparently some of the peugeot vans have them fitted too.

    I have a 52 reg 106 gti and I can confirm my rear ARB is defo 24mm.

    i had 25mm, now got 24mm and prefer this for road use.
