#2Remove the wiper arm. If its stuck:
a) cut it off (the plastic bit that is)
b) WD40 and get a friend with some arm muscle -

#6it's easy depending on one point hehe. here's a little guide:
1 - Unscrew the three torx screws on the panel on the inside of the boot. One to the right, one to the left and one in the handle.
2 - Pull the boot panel off. There are 4 clips in total, try not to break them though.
3 - Pull the cover off of the centre of the wiper (where it connects to the boot)
4 - Undo the large screw that was revealed when you took the cover off.
5 - Pull the wiper arm off of the screw thread by wiggling and pulling. If it does not come off (normally on MK2's) then you will need to saw the wiper arm. When sawing this off, make sure that you cut it next to the thread so that it will just slide off but try not to cut the thread itself because you will need to use it again if you ever come to putting the wiper back on.
Whatever you do, DO NOT TRY AND PULL THE WIPER ARM TOO HARD. This will result in a shattered rear window and a cost of around 120 pounds to put right.
6 - With the wiper off, disconenct the wire going to the wiper motor on the inside of th eboot
7 - undo the two screws holding the wiper motor onto the boot and pull it off.
8 - Tape the end of the wire off that was connected to the motor and you might want to tape it to the boot so you know where to find it if you ever come to putting the motor back on again.
9 - Remove the rubber grommit from the hole in the glass
10 - Use a 20mm or 21mm blanking grommit (your choice on the size, some 20mm fit better, some 21mm fit better) and put it in the hole.
11 (optional) - depending on the fit and quality of the grommit, you may want to use some sort of sealant, maybe silicon to seal the edges so that no moisture or rain car get through the hole and rust the inside of your boot.
12 - Put the boot panel back on the car and screw it back into place.
13 - Stand back, admire your new euro backside and get your photos onto Sax-P
hope that helps,1 user thanked this post: -

#10Sad to say i have given up trying to de-wiper my mark2. I had most of it done and undone the T15's under the boot but could just not get the wiper arm off and was unsure where to saw it off so in the end just left it until i find exactly where to cut.Quote:(1)undo the nut on the wipper.
