Newman Cams

   Looking at the Newman cams Ph1 for a Furio. This doesn't require a re-map and doesn't mess with the idle?
   
   How much of a gain am i looking at? Already got a 4-2-1 mani, s/s race section and piper box. BMC panel filter too. Not getting induction kit.

   not to familiar with the ph1's but possibly with all your mods and the cam somewhere between 90-100.
   That cam doesnt require a remap but certainly if you want to suck some power out of it then its worth it. Also the idle should be fine, you may see a small change in the idle speed but nothing to worry about

   Thanks mate. Ye a re-map could be considered at a later date. How much of a gain would i see with a re-map?

    Its one of those difficult questions.
    How much power will I get....
    well its a mild cam upgrade so its not going to be massive. This works within the parameters of a standard ecu, but 3 or 4 brake could possibly be got from a custom ecu map as every engine is different and the standard ecu is mapped to a generic engine spec.

    to run with the best gains you would need tb or a rallye inlet and remap yes but been told it will run without all of this but will just be a little lumpy at idle
