    so people say

depends how you crash tbh, i wrote my first car off (saxo) with a show cage in and even after rolling twice there was no damage to the cage wat so ever, rest of the car was history!

Its easier if you take the back seats out,

then fit it, then put the rear seats back in

    Simple,

but as " Roper " said, it took me and him agers to put mine in

    ( he's my brother )

think i might leave rear seats out anyway for time being till i get a leather back bench.. hoping to get it fitted 2moro.. if anyone local fancies helping me?
  26. #26

they do look the bollocks i just remembered it was easy to fit as my front seats were out
  27. #27
they look good if you have your back seats in, if you strip the back of your car out and have a show cage it looks really sh1t because you can see the pathetic brackets and the fact that the cage is 'floating'.
i had one for a few months, had it in and out several times before i decided to take it out and sell it.
it just got embarrasing when people said 'is that a proper roll cage?' and then i reply saying 'no it isn't, its a show cage. Doesn't do anything except possibly kill me if i roll the car.'

as far as fitting them goes, about 20 to 30 minutes normally and about 2 minutes to remove them, i found the best way was to assemble it in the car with the front seats pushed forward and then slide it towards the back, no need to remove the back seats imo.
