   what tape would you use to tape off the lip, and where to get it from please

   i jst painted my wheels black with hammerite paint...came very well. i didnt tape them or that, i will put a pic up to show you

   i didnt spray them... i used a paint brush, and jst took it up2 the lip, and if i went on it a little i jst got a paper towel and wiped it off while it was still wet, if u really wanted u could jst put sum masking tape round...

   haha nah well its a lip...so its pretty hard to go over. honestly its much easier than it looks...hardest bit is to stop it bubling and getting runs etc

    cheers for the comments on thw wheels boys... my m8s went mental at me when i told them i was goin to hand paint them haha, they were telling me to go get them powder coated...looked into that but it was comming at around £50 a wheel. so jst went for it myself and turnd out well

    if you're going to mask the lip use good quality masking tape. 3M stuff is bloody good but can be a bit pricey. or, use a thin art type paint brush and just run round the lip with the diff colour paint.
