Right i have the awful noise coming from the engine area but when clutch is down it goes away. it isnt that loud now but am pretty sure it is the clutch release bearing. I think it goes when engine is warm but maybe it just gets quieter ?
Think i will be getting it changed at MOT time in about 2 months am hoping it wont die before then, mates said his dad will do it for about £70 which i think is very good.
I need to know what clutch to get looked for a valeo one but can't find it for a 1.1 only one's i found are the LUK ones and cheapo on ebay am thinking of getting the LUK one but could someone clarify it is the right one?

by the way the cars at about 76,000 miles anything else i should get changed to be on safe side? cambelt+waterpump done recently, also headgasket tested was fine.
