fitting upper strut brace

    going to attempt to fit my upper strut brace in a bit im guessing all i have to do is undo the 3 nuts on each mount locate the strut brace then tighten all the nuts up is there anything else i need to do

    i had a problem with this . . . you will have your fuel cut of switch ( big and red ) located on the right hand side, just past ur brake fluid res. going to need a deep reach socket here, 10mm i thinkkks, unscrew that, then move it about 2 inches towards u, ull notice a small plate which u can cable tie it to. (moving it will have to feed it under some wires ad cables)

    once u have put that in a safe place, undo the 3 bolts either side, adjust the strut, place it on and put the bolts back on... can get pics of locating the switch if needed.

    i had already moved the cut off switch the other day in my dinner break

    what ive noticed on mine, after opening and shutting the hood a few times (been fittin new Rad over few days) its started to scratch off some of the paint on the strut ... nothing too serious, so thinking about sanding it all down and re painting it a different colour!

    i know what you ment tonto no offence taken but i did notice the difference after i dropped my lad back at home i was on a straight stretch of road and took it up to 90mph and it seemed to handle better
