Gearbox roaning

   hiya i was just wondering why my saxo is making a groaning noise in 1st and 2nd gear. would i need to change the transmission fluid. or is it a new gearbox jobbie? cheers.

   can try changing it m8, probly will be a new box, mines doing same but jumps owt reverse.

   what type of noise?
   like a whine?
   
   if its whining as you change gear/accellerate etc then it will be a new gear box needed

   sorry m8 a oil change wont do anything my m8s was the same new gear box if you do get a new box go for the vts box better ratios= better acelleration

   thought the vts had higher top end ratio, xsi is accelration along with rallye iirc
