Quick brake fluid question?

  1. #1
Was going to buy some dot 4 tonight as I'm getting some GTI 6 brakes fitted tomorrow, but it said "not to be used on Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Citroen's where mineral oil based fluids (LHM, H.S.M.O) have to be used or in systems using dot 5 silicone based fluids.

Just wondering if saxos use any of them two things in brackets and will it be okay to buy?
    Cheers

    no you will be fine

they are for the citroens that use the brake fluid to work the active suspension

just make sure you buy quality fluid, dont leave the lid off it in this weather as it will soak up moisture and make sure you bleed it well
