Brake Disks

I've just had new mintex pads all round on the car and was looking for a set of grooved disks because i like the look of them really
Been looking on the bay at a set of disks that i can use which are too expensive but will do the job, i know they arent going to dramatically improve braking.

Will these fit? i know it says they will but it also says they are 5 stud. Which is what confused me and thaught i would ask before i buy.

Anyone know any other grooved disks for sale which aren't too bad on price. Maybe looking at going bigger on disks but not wanting to change calipers and carriers.

    Thanks..

    they will fit mate.

but buying cheap means the quality of the disc wont be so great....

I got some similar to that and they aren't brilliant mate if i'm honest, i would say just go for new standard disks and decent pads as i remember the braking on my old Furio feeling a hell of a lot better than it does on my VTR right now. Or just go for the regular 306/206 upgrade which you should notice.

Due to the cheap groove design on those disks you will get accelerated pad wear (due to the groove going all the way to the disk edge).
Get some good hard plain carbon disks and they will have a much longer life on the car. We sell Maxtorq group N disks at a much better price! No grooves, but they get the job done.

Why not just run some standard disks and mintex 1144's, chris at manic motors reckons this is sufficient for fast road use.

Geez, that is a good price, are these much better than standard?

Reckon the mintex 1144's with these is a good combo?

Ill vouch for 1144's...cant say about the disk, but 1144's are an awesome fast road pad imo!
    Loved them @ Brands.

we think so both maxtorq and mintex produce good products without being stupidly priced.. which is nice
