Swapping ecus

   Whats involved in fitting an ecu from another vts into my vts? straight swap or does it need unlokcing? if so how?

   literally straight swap, but ask a garage to make sure because you don't want to break it.

   My ecu is faulty, so im off to the breakers tommorow, you sure you dont need to unlock the 'new' ecu

   oh rite. at the breakers, its worth just checking. but I think you may need to alter the ecu, maybe not a case of 'unlocking'. might need to programme it to your engine some how.

   think it wil need unlocking or it wont recognise your key m8 unless you have the ignition barrel from the car ur gettin ecu off n maybe transponder box aswell or send the new one off to bluehawk electronics 85 for unlocking and 8 postage back to you 93 in total but it will then work with any car (saxo)
