Janspeed Exhaust Manifold for saxo vts

good or bad?

bad!!!!my mates splitted on the weld for the bracket that bolts on to the gear box,it went back to jan speed and they welded it back up, but my mate thinks the problen will come agen, plus the black paint job it comes in will rust through as it did it when he first had it and agen after it been re-sprayed when it got welded back up by janspeed. save the extra and get a miltek or supersprint

was that mild or stainless though?n the paint probally wont stay on if it isnt heat resistant it'll just flake off because manifolds get rather hot

havent dealt with janspeed mate but i'm getting a supersprint 4 brach fitted to mine tomorrow n the quality looks good

janspeed are supposed to be high quality exhausts.

THAT WAS MILD, , THOUGH THE REST OF THE SYSTEM MY MATE HAD WAS STAINLESS, IT ALL LOOKED GOOD BUT THE FITTING QUALITY WASNT ANYWAY NEAR AS GOOD AS MY SCORPION AND PIPER SYSTEM. WHEN WE WAS AT JANSPEED FOR THE REPAIR THEY DID SAY THE PAINT WAS SPOSE TO STAY ON, BUT DO KNOW IT DOSNT AND THAT ITS A PROBLEM THEY WERE GONA SORT OUT,THEY DID SAY MAYBE PUTTING A CERAMIC COATING ON IT, AT EXTRA COSTS, BUT THAT WILL MIS THE POINT OF BEING A CHEAPER OPTION THAN STAINLESS. I JUST RECOMEND SAVING THE HASSEL AND GO FOR A DIFFERENT BRAND.

I think there are better manifold out there, which maybe a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. I have a supersprint one on my vts engine and thats really good quality but I would have said get one from gmc motorsport.

ive got a supersprint on my vts and its s/s and really good!!!!!!!

had it bout 3 years now!!!!!!

I'd get the GMC one.
I had one on my VTS fitted really well couldn't fault it.

janspeed,gmc,supersprint etc all quality.personally i would go for the supersprint

I understand that the GMC ones are made by Piper and are the 4-1 type.

Quality wise Supersprint sits at the top of the pile.
The ports on the piper aren't as perfect as the Supersprint.
Raceland sits well below these.. but its cheap.

Haven't seen the Janspeed to comment on those
