induction kit

   hi ive got a mk2 vtr ive bought an induction kit the 1 that attaches to ur slam panel but were the opening is were cold air enters is blocked by a trim on the underneathof the slam panel which then meets the top of the radiator so i cnt see how cold air gets in? any ideas?
