Induction kit help!!!

  1. #1
Ok i have a pipercross induction kit. The filter sits very close to the eninge so i bought a pipe to reroute it away from it. I have done this and now it sits down next to the battery behind the headlight area.....perfect!! However my question is the crank case breather pipe i have just put a filter on it to keep that happy. on the induction kit pipe, however, there is a pipe for the original crank case pipe to fit onto but because the filter is so far away now it doesnt stretch. I have just put another pipercross breather filter on it im just wondering if that will be ok on there attached to the pipe sucking it air.

Sorry for the essay but its hard to explain.

    Cheers lads.

i think i know what you mean.

on the neck of the filter (the metal bit) there is a nozzle where the breather should be connected, right?

if thats what you mean then just block it up

yeah it will be fine mate, wont do anything tho...

but id block it up tbh you only really want the air coming into your engine throw the filter you've just baught, not a breather you've had laying around

that pipe doesnt suck, its blows. a filter on it is fine and will do the job, catch can for MOT time though as its a fail without.
