sorry its another quickshift query.

   Hi everyone, im looking at getting a Kam racing compbrake quickshift and selector rod set for my mk2 vts. The gear change on my car is a bit tight (especially when cold) and occasionally get a crunch (not very often) and im just checking that this wont make the problem any worse?
   
   I will be swapping the box possibly in the future but want to see if upgrading the linkage has any effect first.

   The compbrake one has been known to highlight problems with the synchro mesh in the gearbox i think i remember someone saying. It doesnt however cause the problem.

   have you changed the g/box oil lately because citroens have to have the right oil or they are had to change gear i had thgis problem some one put 80w90 in it and should have 75/80 in it

   Thankyou for that tony, im pretty sure its got the right oil in, its the synchro thats worn on mine.
