gearbox is funny

   my dad and uncle put a gear box from a saxo 1.1 into my 1.1 because i lost 3rd gear and it was not a bad gear box couldn't put into 1st without standing still and i was out last night and it kept jumping out of 1st any one know whats up and how to fix ? thx

   if its jumping out it could be a worn gear linkage or if its a second hand box it could be faulty.

   ye it jumps out it has only just started doing it
