Removing the doorhandles and getting a door popper

Good idea?? Easy-ish to do?? Good popper systems???

Easyish yes. Just use solinoids, which are easy to come by. Use the most powerful ones you can find really.

Just if the solinoids burn out, you run the risk of not being able to open your door. Also, you need a way of opening the door from the outside (button etc) or its an MOT failure

its not realy that easy to de handle the doors. easy to add poppers but as andy said you run the risk of it burning out. ive gone through 2 for my boot already.

i was thinking of having a button on a fob with my key to pop the drivers door open, then being able to open by hand jus pullin the thing. but keep my boot lock and handle incase they blow, would look silly...but could stll get in. my mate had a corsa and fitted a tvr replica system (button under mirrors) looked good but i want something subtle and a smoothed look to dorrs etc and a good design.

You'd still need a button somewhere on the outside of the door. iirc its an mot failure not to have a means of opening the door from the exterior. The keyfob is not included as that may be inside the car with you.

you dont need a button out side for mot, i got round iton my 205 by haveing my window down, you can reach in and open it so its not a fail
