#2what sizes do you need? I have mine off the car just now so could give you sizes
-
#3he wanted the actual tip..
so im assuming LxWxH would suffice -
#4or just trace round it for him and send him the trace if he wants to be pedantic.
-
#5Well from all the pics ive seen its the same size as the exaust cut out on the VT* bumper so just copy that!
-
#6looks to be a similar size to sportex oval which is 4" at its widest
-
#8Did this ever happen Webby??? i'm also after getting a copy made up...
Thanks. -
#9I measured mine a little while ago for the thread where everyone put pictures of their tail-pipes.
It's the same size as the vt bumper cut-out, so 6"x4" -

Contemplating getting a custom 2.5" bore exhaust made up at MIJ Exhausts in Walsall as my purse wont stretch to the BTB cost
, all the reading up i've done suggest's they put them together to a high standard all of which is cheaper than the cost of a new Magnex would you believe, but having had a bad experience with Poorflow I am doubtful...

#11They look to do some good work on their website going by the cars they've done exhaust for ?
If they offer a lifetime guarantee on it, maybe ask to see an exhaust they are currently making up ?
Sounds worth it though -
#12get a piper ??? mine looks the same as a btb...
6x4 oval -
#14how much roughtly does it cost for a ccustom ysttem, something along the lines of a btb
-
#15$600,000,000

#17Going by there website and little googling they have worked on all sorts (German, Japs etc etc), for the most part everyone drives away happy.Quote:They look to do some good work on their website going by the cars they've done exhaust for ?

Thats a good idea, if/when I do decide to take the plunge I will ask to see a current job they are working on.
From the initial costing I've had over the phone its definatley worth a punt, more interestingly there keen on the idea of a owners club group-buy so watch this space
, what makes this appealing is that they have the ability to do 5-6 all at once so this could turn into a 'car meet / group-buy'
Quote:how much roughtly does it cost for a ccustom ysttem, something along the lines of a btbHoping to get a better pricing than the above for a group-buy would you believe, keep an eye openQuote:I would say around £300-£400 for a good quality one + will depend on the amount of silencers you have, if you have a cat etc.

#18Sounds good, if you can get them to do a 3" system then

Also the single tailpipe on the second row down on the far left looks ideal:http://www.mijexhaust.com/exhaust-range.html -
#19They do indeed do a 3" diameter bore system, will keep you posted as thats on my list of questionsQuote:Sounds good, if you can get them to do a 3" system then

, how that size would be routed under the car is beyond me thou
Do you mean this tailpipe design: -
-
#20^ ^ ^ Yeh, looks a spot on tailpipe
3" would be tight routing under the car - might get more interested in a 3" system for people looking at over 300bhp'ish ?
I'll keep my eyes peeled anyway !
