those are o/e replacement dampers not uprated. You need shortened shocks

Yes but Bilstein make standard replacement parts as well as their performance range.
All uprated Bilstein dampers are yellow....

    i see, cheers.
what am i best going with then kev? around £150-200 for 4 dampers, no springs needed

the bilstein uprated shocks are now quite expensive so you could go for the Apex

even those will massively improve the ride

i have shagged standards on a 60/80 drop so the apex will do? at my height is it really worth going for the bilstein b8's over the apex? i very much doubt that this saxo will see any track action with me going back to college later this year

for a pure road setup the Apex will be a good damper set to go for. They will be able to cope with a 60mm drop

may well be putting an order in to KAM next friday then for the apex shocks. fancy sending them early i promise i'll pay... lol
now, is there a guide anywhere showing how to fit the inserts on the front? never done them before only done full struts
