Important! : Breather Pipe Problems

   Just bought new PiperX induction kit and the breather pipe coming from the rocker cover does not reach onto the Filter as shown below:
   
   I have seen special Vent filters that can be attached to where i've drawn this line. Is this right and how do i fit it?

   they just fit with jubilee clip ben.
   will the original pipe not turn a bit??

   i have a breather filter on my rocker cover look below
   
   that pipercross was 20quid from halfrauds lol
   if not
   get some jubilee clips and buy some rubber tubing
   i think that plastic shit will snap if you try bend it a little - well it did for me..
   
   i HAD to use a breather filter because my other hole in my induction kit was taken up by another pipe that had to be attached :/
   
   soooo
   get a tube
   or a breather filter
   i like breather filter looks nice haha

   but aint there a 2nd pipe coming fromtheback of the air box what did you do with that ?

   Hi i have just fitted a air filter, and have still got the small black coiled plastic tube coming my engine and the other end is just pointing at my filter.. How do i remove it so i can fit the small vent filter. Tryed pulling it off and twisting it but dont wana damage anything!

   i have this problem too i cant budge that small little black tubing that the breather filter goes on. does anyone know how to get this off?

   I cut a little slit along it, and then it's easy to just twist off

    The pipe that has been routed to the breather input on the induction pipe. Where the rocker cover breather pipe would be going.

    No, I think it's an idle valve pipe - goes to the idle valve on the left hand side of the inlet at the end.

    I didn't know that the idle valve piping has a place there. Mine only has the breather pipe going to there. So where the fuck is my idle valve pipe? lol

    your idle valve is probably in your TB as opposed to remote to your TB and on the inlet

    dont forget that in the early vtr there was the black top engine and silver top, i brought a second hand pipercross viper and it didnt fit because it was for the black top and i had a silvertop 99 s plate, both 90 bhp but slightly different in terms of inlet manifold and airbox, correct me if im wrong tho

    finished the air filter and breather filter... air filter is really loud :L not sure if i like it yet. it set a car alarm off :/
