brakes

    right at the end of this month when pay day comes around i want to upgrade my front discs and pads but retain the original calipers and am keeping the 14" vtr alloys, what do you recommend considering i have £200 at the most if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much apprieciated

    mintex M1144 brake pads and maxtorq disks

    you'll have a lot of change too so uprate the brake hoses too

    how come the maxtorq discs are soo cheap? only like £22 according to your website but i guess that is for 1 disc

    Its priced for the pair. They priced competitively - not because they are a bad product.

    o right thats pretty kool then cause i was expecting to be payin around the same price as the brembo discs, what are they like compared to standard discs then? and do you only do the carbone lorraine pads for the rear on a vtr? do the m1144 fronts pads fit an 03 vtr coause it says they only go upto 04/2002? sorry for all the questions just want to make sure i get all the right parts

    the brembo disks are good but you pay a premium for them!

    These will improve brake performance over the standard disks. The Saxo Carbonne Lorraine range is on our site.

    I think later model VTRs use the same disks and pads as the VTS don't they. Someone will confirm.

    right ok then i guess the hose kit will sort all the brakes out with braided lines? how much brake fluid is needed i would of thort 2 bottles off your website so that would be 1 litre? ive worked out that to do all the brake discs, pads, hoses and fluid front and back will come to £241ish any sort of discount available being a premium member?
