BEST Induction kit??

One more post...ive been quoted £290 for a custom made induction kit from a local garage (Pro-Speed) but i know this is a lot.

Before i go and get this done what is THE BEST induction kit on the market at the moment so i can compare the 2.

there isnt one, nothing has ever been proven to work better than the next. Enclosed ones like green, simota and BMC have the theory to be the best but as i say its never been proven.

I would also question how they can claim that its worth the wedge, pics of design testing etc...

Yeah i have seen pics and the garage has come highly reccomended to me.

He did explain the benefits, the fact that its enclosed, made from some heat resistant material so no hot air will get in, it all runs with the air feed from the grill/bumper, through the piping into the cone etc etc.

Just seemed a lot of money and as i know zilch about tuning a car thought u guys could give me an idea if this is over the top prcing at its best

its not just about the enclosed bit its also about the actually length of the pipe, the angle, the diameter etc so unless hes gonna test every one of those whilst he makes this for you and Rolling roads it after each change for that price then id just buy a bmc like said.

go bmc mate. like scott said, there is no proof that anyone is the best but for about £150, thats saving you a hell of a wedge for something else!!

i have had both a somota and a bmc and i must say the bmc is a lot better. the colder the air going in the better. with the bmc u can mount the pipe down at the bottom of the engine but with the somota it will only go at 1 place at the grill at the top were there is juat a little hole for air to get in. u get colder air about 6" from the road.

John i still havnt had any help from your 'sales staff' about my seats query...not off to a good start is it, dont mean to sound funny but some people like help/advice before pushed into buying something!!

Haha and yeah my bad, BMC BMC BMC CMB CBM MBC BCM...im getting there!!

Will try and get some pics up wen i get the digi cam working tidy, £150 for a piece of shite that camera was!
