Am in the process of fitting quick shift to my vtr. I believe i need to remove my gearknob from the stick. Does the Mk2, late model knobs actually come off? becuase it seems bloody permanant!
Cheers,
Paul.

I believe you have to put the gear in either 4th or reverse and get in the back and pull like crazy. Care full it doesn't come off to quick and smack you in the face lol.

Wont move 1 degree let alone 90 mate! My old Mk1 worked like that but this mk2 one has no play no nothing! Seems like its permanantly housed!
